Ritual Designs Costumes

I have been designing and sewing since 1978.  My first dance costumes were for the Bucks County Dance Company while a founding member and dancer. 

 

Over the years I've studied costume design and construction at Arizona State University with Donna Bartz, while stitching for Award winning designer Susan Johnson-Hood in Tempe Arizona.  In Albuquerque, I designed and made costumes for Nickerson’s Young Actors (currently known as “New Mexico Young Actors”) for five wonderful seasons. 

 

I've attended workshops at “TUTU.COM” in North Carolina with CLAUDIA FOLTS and "TUTUS THAT DANCE" in Las Vegas, Nevada withTAMI DeMATTA and SUZANNE DIECKMANN, and the late Travis Halsey of Halsey on Stage. I'm always interested in learning more from the experts.   

My latest endeavor is creating historical costumes from the 18th and 19 century
